Development and production of various oven controllers and timers, as well as range hood controllers are part of elecontro®. In addition to specializing in process engineering for kitchen appliance controller products, the company also has laboratories and SMT (Surface Mount Technology) production lines dedicated to developing new kitchen appliance projects.

SMT in kitchen appliance projects means surface mount technology. It is a manufacturing process for the production of electronic boards, a method of mounting electronic components directly on the surface of a printed circuit board, where most of the process is carried out in an automated fashion, controlled by a computer. The technology helps to miniaturize components, allowing surface mount technology to package more and more electronic components in small spaces, and the process involves applying solder paste to the surface of the circuit board in a uniform and controlled manner, allowing components application and fixation without the need for soldering after component placement. Once the components are on the board, it goes through an oven, which allows for a clear and even fusion of all components.
